Manchester Swim Team competed in the 14U LCM Championships
Seven athletes from the Manchester Swim Team competed in the 14U LCM Championships in late July at Harvard University's Blodgett Pool in Cambridge, Mass.
Kathleen Golding of Concord finished in second in the 400 individual medley, and the 50, 200 and 800 freestyle events. Golding also swam to third place in the 100 free and 200 IM. Her sister Molly, also of Concord, took first in the 100 breaststroke and sixth in the 50 breast, while achieving a personal best time in six of her eight events.
Katie Jenkins of Bow took seventh in the 50 butterfly and improved her best times in all six events she swam, while Bedford's Noelle Theodoulou improved in five of her six.
In addition, Zachary Denbow of Hooksett completed in the 800 free, Bedford's Megan Leyden completed in the 50 and 100 breast, and Olivia Neville of Hooksett swam the 100 free.
The Manchester Swim Team is a USS-registered team with New England Swimming Association and competes in USS meets throughout the northeast and beyond. Tryouts for the fall/winter season will start in September.
