A city man accused of indecent exposure and sexual assault was arraigned Friday in Circuit Court-Manchester District Division. Police prosecutor Steven Mangone requested bail be increased to $25,000 cash/surety for Paul Rondeau, 30, of 159 Wellington Terrace, citing concern for Rondeau's two young children and an adult family friend.

Rondeau is accused of indecent exposure while watching pornographic videos in the presence of his children, ages 1 and 2, and of indecent exposure in the presence of an adult family friend, whom he also allegedly sexually assaulted.

Rondeau could enter no plea to the two felony indecent exposure charges involving his children, so a probable cause hearing was set for Aug. 23. He pleaded innocent to the misdemeanor charges involving the adult and trial was set for Nov. 8.

In arguing for the bail increase, Mangone noted Rondeau has convictions for assault, criminal trespass (2), operating after suspension (2) and criminal mischief and has had three electronic bench warrants issued for failures to appear in court.

Conditions of Rondeau's bail include no contact with his children or the alleged adult victim and he is barred from returning to the Wellington Terrace address or going to the residence of the adult.

Accused of stalking
Donald Moore, 47, of 246 Youville St., who is scheduled for trial Tuesday on assault charges involving a woman, was arraigned Friday in Circuit Court-Manchester District Division on a stalking charge.

Moore is accused of being with the alleged assault victim at a downtown sports bar Thursday evening, in violation of bail conditions, so a bail revocation motion was filed and a hearing on that scheduled for Monday morning.

Trial on the new charge was set for Nov. 7.

Accused of robbing boyfriend
Sara Douglas, 29, of 455 Pine St., could enter no plea Friday in Circuit Court-Manchester District Division to a felony robbery charge that alleges she hit her boyfriend in the groin multiple times, shoved him into a fence, demanded he empty his pockets and took money from him.

Because Douglas was out on bail on a June prostitution charge, prosecutors filed a contempt of court charge. Douglas was also arraigned Friday on a July 3 prostitution charge for which she had been scheduled for arraignment Aug. 16.

Bail was set at $7,500 cash/surety, with conditions barring contact with the alleged victim. A probable cause hearing on the felony was set for Aug. 23 and trial on the misdemeanor charges was set for Nov. 8.
Accused of resisting arrest
A Hooksett woman who was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated Thursday night pleaded innocent Friday in Circuit Court-Manchester District Division to that charge as well as to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

When police sought to arrest Karen Janas, 58, of 6 Bayview Terrace Road, on Hanover Street, she allegedly refused to stop yelling obscenities and struggled with officers seeking to handcuff her.

Bail was set at $500 cash/surety, with conditions that include no alcohol consumption. Trial was set for Oct. 29.
