Nashua man charged with assault
NASHUA - A city man is being held on $10,000 bail, accused of assaulting and trying to strangle a woman.
Christian Torres, 21, of 36 Mulberry St., was arrested after police investigated the complaint from the woman who said Torres choked and assaulted her on Thursday.
He is charged with second degree assault, a class B felony, and simple assault, a class A misdemeanor.
What's next:Torres is to be arraigned Monday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District.
