Four Fisher Cats to play in EL All-Star game
Four New Hampshire Fisher Cats players will be participating for the Eastern Division in the 2012 Eastern League All-Star Game on July 11 in Reading, Pa.
First baseman Mike McDade, hitting .300 with 12 homers, ranking him sixth in the league, returns to the All-Star festivities for the second straight year.
Joining him will be shortstop Ryan Goins who leads the Eastern League with 93 hits, and pitchers Yohan Pino and Sam Dyson. Pino is 4-2 this season with a 3.08 ERA in 12 games including 10 starts.
Dyson earned his berth through fan voting. Dyson has pitched 21-2/3 innings in 13 games and has an 0.83 ERA. He has a .244 opponent’s batting average with two saves.
