Hampton company nets $1.6 million
WASHINGTON – Hampton-based Brayton Energy has been selected to receive $1.6 million to advance its solar power technologies at the SunShot Grand Challenge Summit.
The federal Energy Department announced $56 million in awards nationally, subject to congressional appropriations, that will help speed innovations in new components to lower costs, increase operating temperatures and improve the efficiency of solar power systems.
