Product of the Year applications sought
MANCHESTER — The New Hampshire High Technology Council is accepting applications from New Hampshire-based organizations to apply for the 2012 Product of the Year award.
In mid-October, up to five nalists will be selected and awarded the Product of the Year Judges' Award. Then, the finalists will present their products in a trade show format that includes a seven-minute presentation to a live audience of roughly 300 people on Nov. 13 at the Southeastern Regional Education Service Center in Bedford, at NHHTC's seventh Product of the Year event.
The winner will be announced at the conclusion of the event and will earn the prestigious crystal trophy designed for the council by Pepi Herrmann. The trophy and the finalist's winning product will be on display at the Greater Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
Previous winners include 2006 — Nanocomp Technologies; 2007 — UltraVision; 2008 — Insight Tech Gear; 2009 — Holase Inc.; 2010 — Sky-Skan; 2011 — Foss Manufacturing.
Applications can be downloaded at NHHTC.org. The application deadline is Sept. 27.
