Awards in bloom for New Hampshire’s garden clubs
PLYMOUTH — Lucy Magoon of the Littleton Garden Club and Jake Collins of the Atkinson Garden Club received Community Star awards for outstanding contributions to their communities at the annual meeting of the New Hampshire Federation of Garden Clubs on May 23.
Nine members were honored with Silver Seal citations for special contributions to the work of their local clubs: Atkinson Garden Club, Marta Frabbrucci; Bow Garden Club, Lorraine Dacko; Derry Garden Club, Deede Loffler; Fremont Garden Club, Pat Angus; Littleton Garden Club, Sue Sorlucco; Mountain Garden Club, Ralph Lutjen; New Hampton Garden Club, Kathleen Kozak;Old Homestead Garden Club, Mary Ellen Sienkiewicz; Opechee Garden Club, Sandra Gove.
Other awards included:
