Partial-birth abortion bill on governor’s desk

CONCORD - The House sent to the governor a bill that bars partial-birth abortions.

The House agreed to the Senate version of House Bill 1679. Federal law currently prohibits the procedure, which is not performed in New Hampshire, according to health care officials.
