Three NHIAA champions will be crowned today in boys’ tennis.

Top-ranked and unbeaten Londonderry will battle second-ranked Exeter for the Division I title at 4 p.m. at Bedford High.

The Lancers (16-0) defeated the Blue Hawks 7-2 in Exeter on May 11 during the regular season. The Lancers defeated No. 8 Timberlane of Plaistow, 9-0, in the quarterfinals and No. 4 seed Keene by a 7-2 margin in the semifinals.

Londonderry is seeking its second title in three seasons, beating Exeter for the 2010 title by a 5-4 margin.

Exeter (15-1) is making its fourth straight appearance in the Division I final. The Blue Hawks won the state title in 2009, beating Pinkerton Academy of Derry (6-3) and have finished runner-up to the Lancers in 2010 and Bishop Guertin of Nashua last year by a 7-2 count.

Exeter’s road to the final this season went through defending state champion Bishop Guertin, ranked seventh this season, by a 7-2 decision in the quarterfinals. The Blue Hawks erased No. 3 Concord, 6-3, in the semifinals.

The Lancers will be led today by No. 1 singles’ player Harrison Max. Teammates Tim Court, Matt McKinney, Ryan Broderick, Mike Paquette and Nick Beaton figure to start the other five singles matches.

The likely starting six for the Blue Hawks are Corey Guen, Chris Lietz, Ryan Posternak, Ty Cloyd, Lino Cantarella and Chip McNaughton .

The Division II final is a rematch of last year’s championship round in which Bedford upended Hanover, 5-2.

Today’s final is slated for 4 p.m. at Derryfield School in Manchester. Hanover is the top seed trying to dethrone the two-time defending champion Bulldogs, who will be moving to Division I next season.

On April 11 in Bedford, Hanover defeated the Bulldogs, 5-4.

Hanover (15-0) reached the final by blanking eighth-seeded Kennett of Conway, 9-0, in the quarterfinals and No. 5 seed Lebanon, 7-2, in the semifinals.

Bedford (15-1) earned its third straight trip to the final by defeating No. 7 seed Goffstown, 9-0, in the quarterfinals and No. 3 seed Portsmouth, 8-1, in the semifinals.

Hanover has a long history in tennis, winning 11 state titles and finishing runner-up five times.

Bedford won its first title in 2010 with a 5-4 decision against Pelham before successfully defending its crown with its win against Hanover last year.

Bedford will be led by Mark HoSang, McKinley Grimes, Jim Delahunty, Dan Soucy, Jim Foley and Zach Anderson.

Hanover will counter with Nick Ballou, Christian Mueller, Tornike Shubitidze, Luke Candido, Connor Schon and Richard Qui.

The Division III final features two teams that didn’t face each other during the regular season.

Top-seeded Bow will challenge No. 2 ranked Profile of Bethlehem today at 4 p.m. at Pinkerton Academy.

The Falcons (15-0) won their last title in 2002, completing a three-year sweep of Derryfield School (2000-02). Bow lost to Gilford in the final last year, 5-4, and finished runner-up to Inter-Lakes of Meredith in 1999 and Derryfield in 2004.

Profile (13-1) is making its first appearance in the championship round.

Bow defeated No. 4 Kingswood of Wolfeboro, 8-1, in the semifinals while the Patriots eliminated defending state champion Gilford, ranked third, by a 6-3 count.
