Two people hurt in Dover pickup crash

DOVER — Two people were injured Tuesday after the driver of a pickup truck apparently suffered a medical issue, according to state police.

Trooper Peter Gilbert said Edward Rowe, 47, of Barrington, may have suffered a seizure while heading north on the Spaulding Turnpike about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. His truck hit a van driven by Ernest Thompson, 59, Dover, who complained of neck pain after the accident, then hit a guard rail, which stopped the truck, Gilbert said.

Rowe was taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for treatment, Gilbert said.
