Police search for driver who hit two girls in Rochester
ROCHESTER — Police are searching for a man they say hit two girls with his van, then left the scene of the accident.
Police said the girls were crossing Columbus Avenue about 4:45 p.m. Friday when they were hit by a van driven by a man described as an older man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with gray hair and a mustache. Police said the man stopped the van, checked on the girls, then drove away without providing his information.
Both girls suffered minor injuries and were taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 330-7128.
