The local writer, social media enthusiast and longtime Epping High School English teacher is on a mission that could send him into space, and he's taken one giant leap toward making that launch a reality.
Herman was chosen as one of 20 semi-finalists in a national competition that will put one lucky winner on a sub-orbital space flight later this year.
