Only in Print: In Goffstown, top scorers skip exams






GOFFSTOWN — With increasing pressure on schools to perform well on state tests, Goffstown High School students are given an incentive to do their best.

Juniors who rank “proficient” or “proficient with distinction” on the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) tests for reading, writing and math are exempt from final exams, Principal Frank McBride said.
