Only in Print: Manchester school budget OK'd at $152m
The Manchester Board of School Committee, in a marathon five-hour meeting Saturday, voted to send a $152 million budget that meets the city's tax cap to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
But they're also sending the so-called “needs” budget that's about $10 million higher in hopes the aldermen will find some daylight to fund more of the district's priorities.
