Only in Print: North Conway looks at lighting options
CONWAY — North Conway Village and the commercial strip on Route 16 could get a little brighter at night.
To save money, the town turned off every other street light in the village several years ago, as well as most of the street lights south from the end of the village through the commercial district. Now, the Mount Washington Valley Preservation Association is exploring ways to restore the lighting with energy-efficient technology.
