Detective recognizes burglar, Lebanon man arrested
LEBANON - A local man is under arrest, accused of burglarizing three businesses after a police detective recognized him as the burglar captured on one of the business's surveillance systems, according to the police chief.
Anthony Boisvert, 22, of Mascoma Street, was arrested after an investigation into several thefts from unlocked vehicles and burglaries of a hair salon, restaurant and flower shop that happened over the weekend.
When the detective saw the video and realized it was allegedly Boisvert, investigators obtained a search warrant for his residence and recovered property taken in the burglaries and from the vehicles, said Police Chief M. James Alexander.
Boisvert is charged with three counts of burglary, one count of controlled drug acts prohibited, one count of receiving stolen property and four counts of theft by unauthorized taking.
He is being held on $25,000 cash bail pending arraignment Tuesday in Lebanon District Court.
