2 charged in fatal Farmington stabbing
Two men were arrested Sunday in a stabbing that claimed the life of a 22-year-old.
According to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, Christopher Gay, 26, and Cory Bennett, 21, were each charged with second-degree murder.
Ryan Stewart was found with stab wounds outside his apartment at 11 Worster St., Farmington, early Sunday morning.
Stewart was pronounced dead at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester later in the morning.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
The apartment building, which is just behind the Farmington police station, was the scene of an incident last January in which a man dragged a police officer with his car and tried to run over another officer. Anthony Bleyl was charged with assault in that incident.
Gay and Bennett are to be arraigned Monday at 11:30 a.m. in Rochester District Court.
Anyone with information regarding the homicide is asked to call State Police headquarters at 271-3636.
