Bicyclist killed on Route 103 in Newbury

NEWBURY — A Newbury bicyclist was killed and another critically injured when a vehicle struck them on Route 103 on Friday, police said.

Robert Saturley, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene. Michael Feeney, 63, of Newbury, was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon with life-threatening injuries and remained in critical condition Saturday night.

The men were riding their bicycles east on Route 103 near North Peak Village around 6:25 p.m. when they were struck by a vehicle operated in the same direction by Charles Crosbie, 86, of Bedford.
Police continue investigating the accident.
