TRAIN: Grammy Award-winning band Train rolls back into the music scene with the recent release of its fifth album, “Save Me, San Francisco.” The group, which will bring its tour to the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 20, has chugged onto the charts with the CD’s first single, “Soul Sister.” The tune, which also was featured on the NBC drama “Medium,” is the latest stop on a successful ride that has included the Grammy-winning song “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” and the chart-topping singles “Meet Virginia” and “Calling All Angels.” Since forming in San Francisco in 1994, the multi-platinum- selling band has seen three of its albums reach the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart and has sold more than 4 million albums in the United States. Train’s new tour marks the restoration of the group’s original lineup — vocalist Pat Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood. Monahan recently appeared on the CBS show “CSI: NY,” playing opposite Kim Kardashian and in a segment with his band. Tickets to Concord show range from $30 to $175 for a VIP package including a meet-and-greet session. For more information, call the box office at 225-1111 or log onto www.ccanh.com.
