Special feature: The glass and light filled Winter Garden will house the new café and be a prime location for special events. The space features a 1930s mural on the original south façade of the Currier, not seen by most visitors in recent years, and the opposite wall features a wall drawing by internationally acclaimed artist Sol LeWitt.
Notables inside: The museum owns works by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Georges Rouault, Georgia O’Keeffe, Marsden Hartley, Gaston Lachaise, and Charles Sheeler. It also owns the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman House in North Manchester.
