Monadnock Region (Lisa Martineau)
New Hampshire is one of the best places in the world to witness the brilliant crimsons and golds of fall. To help visitors decide when to take a tour of the countryside, NewHampshire.com will publish weekly updates on how the fall colors are progressing during the fall foliage season.
Best time to see foliage?
The foliage peaks at different times in different parts of the state. Generally, the best times to view the fall colors are near the end of September in the far north, the beginning of October in the White Mountain region, and the middle of October in the south.

The Monadnock Region is at peak foliage now. Come see the canvas that Mother Nature has painted this year! We'd like to call it "stunning!" Head toward Keene and enjoy the artsy color all around you before the leaves drop and go bare for the winter season.
