MANCHESTER — A city man was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest early Sunday after he refused to leave a Hanover Street bar and struggled with police.
According to a release, Fautee Quiah, 25, was arrested about 1:05 a.m.
Two officers working a detail at the 123 Hanover St. bar said they watched Quiah leave the bar while being told by a bouncer he wouldn’t be allowed back in due to the late hour.
When he tried to get back in, Quiah began yelling at the bar employee, pushing his way past to re-enter the club, police said. When the officers approached, Quiah allegedly refused to leave, grabbing the door frame and struggling with the officers before he was arrested, police said.
Quiah was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Manchester circuit court June 26.
