BEDFORD — Cam Meservey scored 15 points to help lead Bedford to its sixth win a row, a 61-48 Division I boys' basketball win over Spaulding on Monday.
The Bulldogs have reached the .500 mark at 7-7 after starting the season 1-7. They are 10th in the Division I standings.
With four games left in the season, the Bulldogs have a chance at earning a top-eight spot and a home game in the postseason tournament.
Spaulding dropped to 8-7 and has lost two in a row. The Red Raiders are ninth, a half-game ahead of Bedford in the standings.
Thomas O'Rourke had 11 points for Bedford. Ryan Brown and Taylor Grande each had nine. Charlie Nevejans led the Red Raiders with 18. Darian Berry added 16 points.
Bedford owned the boards, limiting Spaulding to one offensive rebound through three quarters. "We really stepped up our defense and crashed the boards hard," said Meservey.
