Lebanon’s Colette Schmidt shot and 75 and then won a four-way playoff to capture the New England Interscholastic Girls’ Golf Championship on Monday at Bretwood’s North Course in Keene. Schmidt beat a playoff field that included Julia Kemmling (Berlin, Conn.), Nicole Scola (Prout School, Wakefield, R.I.) and Marissa Grillo (Avon, Conn.).
Charlie May of Masconomet Regional High in Boxford, Mass., shot a 69 to win the boys’ title. Manchester Central’s Matthew Paradis was New Hampshire’s top finisher. Paradis shot a 71 and tied for fifth.
