‘Sexy Laundry’ a comic look at long-running relationships

PETERBOROUGH — Peterborough Players presents the New Hampshire premiere of “Sexy Laundry,” by Michele Riml, through Sept. 9.

“This adult comedy is for any adult who has ever been married to another adult for a significant amount of time,” according to the Hadley Road theater’s description of the comic yet poignant romp. “With a library copy of ‘Sex for Dummies’ in hand, Alice attempts to rekindle her decades long marriage to Henry. Over the course of a weekend in a luxury hotel, the couple stumbles over the hilarious and humbling truths of their long-running marriage.”

Familiar faces on the Players stage, Bridget Beirne and Tom Frey will star in the production of “Sexy Laundry.”

The show is rated PG-13.
