MANCHESTER - Kaylyn Tracey, a senior at Bedford High School, is starring in NH School of Ballet’s (NHBS) production of “The Nutcracker” at 7 p.m. today at The Palace Theatre, 80 Hanover St.

Tracey portrays Clara, the girl at the heart of the beloved holiday ballet about a Christmas gift and a journey into a magical realm.

Upon graduation, Tracey plans to attend Jacksonville University in Florida, where she has been recruited as a Division I athlete — coxwain for the crew team, according to her mother, Janice Norwesh of Bedford.

“Because dance has always been such a passion and a large part of her life, her goal is to become a physical therapist for dancers,” Norwesh said. “She will be majoring in kinesiology and minoring in dance.”

NHSB, which is based in Hooksett, on Dec. 15 presented it first 2017 holiday show at the Concord Auditorium.

Tickets to tonight’s Manchester show are $18.
