ROCHESTER - A Lebanon, Maine, man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Saturday morning when his car struck two mailboxes and some trees before rolling on its side, police said.
First responders were called to 774 Salmon Falls Road at 10:09 a.m. where a black Ford Escape was on its side with a tree lying on it.
James Chasse, 34, was able to get out of the SUV and an ambulance brought him to Frisbie Memorial Hospital, officials said.
A preliminary investigation found Chasse was driving northbound when he drove into the southbound lane, then off the shoulder, police said. The car struck mailboxes, and a tree broke and fell onto the car, police said.
The collision remains under investigation.
