Principal resigns from Manchester's St. Catherine of Siena School; reasons not released

April 20. 2018 8:42PM

MANCHESTER — The principal at St. Catherine of Siena grade school resigned last month for unknown reasons, officials for diocesan schools said.

Jocelyn Bergeron held the job for 3½ years, the first lay person to lead the North End parochial school after the retirement of longtime principal Sister Janet Belcourt in 2014.

Dave Thibault, superintendent of New Hampshire parochial schools, said Bergeron left her job in late March, and privacy concerns prevent him from sharing details of her decision.
