Police: Nashua man held on $100,000 bail in domestic assault

NASHUA — A city man was held on $100,000 cash bail overnight after being arrested late Thursday on assault and criminal threatening charges in a domestic assault, police said.

Chad Silver, 34, was charged with two Class B felony counts of second-degree assault and one misdemeanor account of criminal threatening, police said.

Officers said they were called by the alleged victim just after 10 p.m., who said Silver had choked them twice and threatened them on the phone.

Silver was located about an hour later and arrested, police said.

Silver was scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Hillsborough Superior Court South, police said.
