MANCHESTER — Manchester resident Kaisle J. Raikes, 25, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for drug trafficking and weapons charges, federal prosecutors said Friday.

Raikes was arrested after selling methamphetamine three times in May 2017, said acting U.S. Attorney John Farley.

A search of his apartment uncovered two loaded firearms, methamphetamine, cocaine and Suboxone.

Manchester police found a loaded gun in his sock when they arrested him, Farley said.

“I’m no fool, you have to be ready. I would never turn it on one of you guys though,” he told police, according to Farley.
